Crazy, crazy, crazy

Well it's been a long time since I've been here. Work has been busy and of course football and cheer season. I've been off for the past 8 or 9 days and off all next week so it is time to start things up again and organize for 2009!

Here is a few high lights from the past 5-6 months:

Rented a boat and went out on the chain of lakes with our good friends the Tovar's and had one of the greatest days of the summer.

Football ran great. We made a lot of better ball players this year and are looking forward to next season.

Cheer ran great. Our PeeWee and Featherweight squads qualified for the Inaugural State Championship held by the IRCA. PW took second and FW took first!

Jake has been on Honor Roll since 4th quarter last year!

Josh finished his second season of football and decided to take up wrestling.

Lori's mother was hospitalized for a few days and it was very scary but in the end she showed her true strength and faith in god and pulled through and is doing well.

Josh is in first grade and kicking butt. He has Mrs. Leafblad who is an outstanding educator.

Jake is on the yearbook committee at the middle school and excited.

Lori is working at the Park District as in the past.

We all have discovered the most addictive website ever... Facebook.com!

Christmas was great. Saw lots of family and friends and blessed that everyone is relatively healthy.

The ex-high school football coach is trying to sue me. This is a long story but quite funny. I'm confident he will be disappointed late second quarter unless you can sue people for freedom of speech.

and lastly the local election season is almost upon us and I will be re-running for my Trustee seat. It looks to be a contested race so it will be interesting.

To all my readers and followers out there I'm sorry for such a long hiatus but life got in the way. Please check back and I promise to TRY and be better at updating this with fun and informative stuff.
